In need of rebuilding a season ticket base, data collection and measurement became a focus. We implemented nimble processes to quickly test and iterate until breakthroughs occurred.
We more than doubled the league average with 533% growth in ticket sales during a 3-year span, sold out 40 games, and it all led to the most attended women's professional basketball game in Atlanta's history.
One high-performing ad revealed a human insight that unlocked demand. By packaging a “Daughter Date Night” experience and aligning marketing and ticket sales, we built a scalable revenue engine.
The Daughter Date Night result: 6+ weeknight sellouts, and 85% first-time buyers,. A case study in insight-driven marketing, product positioning, and high-converting e-commerce flow.
With the 'perceived value' of season tickets at a low point, we organized a growth team across content, paid media, UI/UX graphic design, BI and sales to test and measure everything.
This effort generated a 17x ROAS for paid digital ads leading into the 2021 season. But it produced a lot more than revenue. For the first time, there was real clarity about which efforts were creating sales.
